ArborFlow
Low Impact Development (LID) tree pit system that captures, filters and manages stormwater at source while supporting healthy urban trees
Managing Stormwater Through the Tree Pit
ArborFlow® turns the tree pit into part of the site’s stormwater strategy. Runoff is directed into the system, where it is filtered and temporarily stored before moving through the surrounding soil or being taken up by the tree. This helps reduce surface runoff, improve water quality and provide moisture within the rooting environment, while making better use of rainfall within streets and public spaces.
How ArborFlow
Works
Surface runoff enters the tree pit, where sediment and pollutants are filtered before water moves into the soil and storage zone. The system manages water through the rooting environment, supporting tree uptake, infiltration where appropriate and controlled release as part of the wider drainage strategy.
