GreenBlue Urban began with a simple observation: urban trees were often being planted without the space, soil and infrastructure they needed to grow successfully.
Our founder, Dean Bowie, began his career as an arborist in the UK, working directly with trees in challenging built environments. That hands-on experience led to the development of below-ground systems designed to give urban trees the conditions they need to establish, grow and reach maturity.
We remain a family business today, and that practical approach continues to shape how we work.
The benefits of urban trees increase as they mature. Larger, healthier trees provide more shade, greater cooling, improved stormwater management and stronger environmental and community benefits.
